Our Expanded Standards

Our new expanded standard is being developed in accordance with the ISEAL Alliance Code of Good Practice (http://www.isealalliance.org ). This work is informed by a growing recognition that market conditions have evolved, and both the achievement of our mission and consumer demand point to the need to take into account a broader set of interrelated criteria: prevention and elimination of child labour, adult working conditions, and environmental sustainability.

For more information on our new initiative, visit our international Website http://www.goodweave.net/
We are now an organisation, not only concerned with eradicating child labour in the rug industry, but also working towards ensuring adult rug workers are treated fairly and that rugs made are not at the expense of their health, safety or environment.
